Yellowstone Car Rental Policies – Please Read
Age Restrictions
In order to rent a vehicle from Budget of West Yellowstone you must be at least 21 years of age. If the driver is between the ages of 21 to 25 an underage driver fee of $25 per day will apply.
Cancellation / No Show Policy:
All reservations must be canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time in order to avoid a cancellation charge equal to one day’s rental fee. If you do not show up, a no show fee will be charged equal to one day’s rental fee.
Protection
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is available for purchase. The rate is $23.99 per day for compacts, mid-size and full-size vehicles. The rate is $26.99 to $39.99 per day for sport utility vehicles, Suburbans and mini-vans. Renter is responsible for all tire damage regardless of acceptance of LDW.
If LDW is declined renter is responsible for all damages incurred to the vehicle as well as other applicable fees. This may include loss of use charges.
One Way Cars

All rates are subject to change. Your reservation will guarantee the rate at the time of reservation. All rates are subject to tax, fuel charges and applicable airport surcharges. coverage, if selected, is an additional charge.
Rental Safety Net (RSN) is available for purchase and is the perfect companion to LDW. RSN provides coverage for towing, tires, lost or damaged keys and lockouts. Please note towing within Yellowstone National Park is quite costly, purchasing RSN would eliminate that cost to you.
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is available for purchase. SLI increases your liability protection up to $1 million dollars in case of a 3” party liability claim should you cause an accident while driving your Budget rental car.
Personal Protect Plan (PPP) is available for purchase. PPP provides the renter and passengers with limited death and medical benefits. PPP also provides limited coverage for certain belongings that may be lost or stolen.
Many other items and options are available to make your trip more comfortable and enjoyable. While at our rental counter XM Radio, GPS, fuel service options, child safety seats, and additional drivers can all be added to your rental agreement. Fees vary by product.
